Computer Usage/Technology Policy

Cell Phones are not to be seen nor heard in school during any part of the school day.
We will not be responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged cell phones.
Classroom teachers have the option of securing your child's cell phone at the beginning of the day and returning it at the end of the school day.
Any confiscated cell phone used during school hours will be confiscated and returned to the student at the end of the school day.
Parent notification will be given when cell phones are confiscated due to lack of compliance to the rules and is subject to further student discipline.

Students are to visit websites that are directed their teachers.
Students may not take technology home.
Students will be given usernames and passwords for online access at home.
Students who use technology inappropriately e.g. cyber-bullying or visiting inappropriate websites are prohibited.
Students who damage technology may be subject to discipline and loss of computer privileges.
