2026-2027 Registration
Registration for RETURNING STUDENTS is April 13, 2026 - May 22, 2026.
Online Registration
Parents/Guardians of all District 148 students must register their child/children ONLINE for the upcoming school year. (2026-2027) The online process is quick and easy. Registration forms must be SUBMITTED AND APPROVED before your student can attend in the fall. Students entering Kindergarten must register as "New Students". The first day of school is August 17, 2026. All supporting documents for returning students can be turned in at our district offices (114 West 144th St. in Riverdale) Monday thru Thursday 8 am to 2 pm.
A PARENT PORTAL MUST BE CREATED IN POWER SCHOOL TO COMPLETE REGISTRATION FOR ALL STUDENTS.

A PARENT PORTAL MUST BE CREATED IN POWER SCHOOL TO COMPLETE REGISTRATION FOR ALL STUDENTS.
Registration for NEW STUDENTS will open May 31, 2025. You must complete the Pre-Registration form first. Once the Pre-registration form is approved, you will be sent an email requesting the completion of the online registration. There are no registration fees. New students must provide proof of residency and required documents on August 6th (9 am - 2 pm) and August 7st (2 pm - 7 pm). Gym uniforms will be provided at no cost to families. ALL ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED.

All Preschoolers, Kindergartners, and 6th Graders must have an Illinois Physical including required vaccines.

All students entering an Illinois school for the first time are required to have an Illinois Physical.

Kindergartners also require a lead screening assessment, eye examination and dental examination.

Kindergarten, Second and Sixth graders also require a dental examination.
