District 148 Celebrates Lincoln Avenue School as September Attendance Winner

District 148 is proud to celebrate Lincoln Avenue School as its attendance incentive winner for September 2019. The winning schools receive a movie day with popcorn and juice from the Superintendent of Schools.

“The entire Lincoln Avenue School community takes great pride in winning the attendance award,” said Principal Byron Stingily. “We feel that our winning this award is a direct result of our efforts to improve relationships at all levels.”

Principal Stingily says student and staff attendance has improved, as they work to improve the culture and climate of the Dolton-Riverdale community. “We want Lincoln to become a place that all stakeholders look forward to coming to everyday,” he said.

The District’s attendance incentive is also aligned to the many programs that focus on positive relationships, by implementing “Capturing Kids' Hearts, Restorative Justice, Talking Circles, and PBIS”.
