Each of our building mentors has attended either the Governors State Foundational Mentor Training or been trained in the Cahrlotte Danielson PATHWISE Program. Many have been through both trainings. Our mentors recognize that they are more than a "buddy" to the new teacher. We expect our mentors to be professional development facillitators for our beginning teachers, helping them to grow as professionals based on the ISBE Teaching Standards
