The creators of Dolton West Elementary District 148’s top seventh grade science projects earned recognition recently from the Board of Education and the local League of Women Voters.

Howard Hillman, Taniyah Roberson and Darius Pace explained their science fair projects during the School Board’s February 25th meeting. Each of the three students received a certificate of recognition from the board along with a U.S. Savings Bond from the League of Women Voters.

The students are among 27 science fair winners chosen from Lincoln, Roosevelt and Washington Junior High schools to represent District 148 at the Regional Science Fair on Saturday, March 13th.
