who spent time silently reading during a “Drop Everything and Read” event
at their school on Thursday, December 22nd.

Park Elementary School students recently celebrated their positive behavior by reading.

During a “Drop Everything and Read” event on Thursday, December 22nd, students grabbed a book, sprawled out on fluffy blankets they brought from home,  and some even cuddled with a favorite stuffed animal as they settled in for some quality, silent reading.

The occasion was part of the Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports program (PBIS) and was intended to celebrate students’ good behavior at school.
