Interim business manager joins District 148 family

District 148’s new interim business manager is a familiar face in the south Cook County business and education community.

Dr. James D. McEnroe has 31 years of experience in the field, including having worked for four years as Rich Township school treasurer.

He retired from Tinley Park Elementary District 146 as assistant superintendent for business and treasurer. He served District 146 for 13 years.
Following his retirement from the Tinley Park school system, Dr. McEnroe worked for two years as interim director of business and finance for the SPEED cooperative.

He said he is happy to be in District 148 and looks forward to being a part of the district’s family.

Dr. McEnroe has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from DePaul University, a master’s degree in education from Northern Illinois University, and a doctorate degree in education from Western Illinois University.
