Parent Institute Day:
Strong Children, Strong Communities

The 19th Annual Parent Institute Day,
presented by Good Shepherd Center, will be held
from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on March 26, 2010
at Prairie State College, 202 S. Halsted St.,
Chicago Heights.

The Institute will include a discussion by a panel of professionals who assist children with the daily challenge of violence.

Other topics covered in break-out sessions regarding special needs children will include Autism, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder and Financail Planning for Your Child.

There also will be sessions on topics ranging from Infant Massage to Cyberspace: Teens and the Internet.

Parents interested in attending, please click on the link below, print and fill out the registration form, and return to your child's building principal by Friday, March 12th.

District 148 wil pay the $35 registration cost for its parents who attend. The cost includes lunch and a day filled with strategies and new ideas. Parents must provide their own transportation. Those who register after March 15th are not guaranteed a lunch.
